469. David LEONARD⁴² was born on 2 August 1762 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He died in 1844 at the age of 82 in Hancock, Delaware Co., NY. This family removed to Hancock, NY, on the Delaware River, living first in Renssalaer, NY, about 1800.

David LEONARD and Elizabeth MILLER were married about 1783 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. Elizabeth MILLER, daughter of John Christian MILLER and Elizabeth NOBLE, was born on 30 April 1764 in Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She died on 3 February 1836 at the age of 71 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. She took on the name of her stepfather, Sexton.
