2. Addison LEONARD was born on 30 December 1782 in Rutland, VT.¹ He died on 27 December 1861 at the age of 78 in Kenosha Co., WI. He was buried at Green Ridge Cemetery in Kenosha Co., WI. Did Addison really marry twice? The other time to Elizabeth Goodridge? Two families? Or are we mixing two different Addisons here. Was he born in VT or in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., CT, in 1781? Did he really live to be 115? Was he War of 1812 veteran?

He may have been the Addison Leonard, customer of a store in Dover, VT, in 1810.

Alternatively, was he born in 1781 in Gainesville, NY?

He was residing in Bristol, Kenosha Co., WI at the time of the 1850 Census. It would appear the family moved to Wisconsin by way of Ohio around 1845. Before that, they were residing in Cortland, NY. His son, John, was living with them, as well as Esther Goodridge.

Descendant, George, of Addison is in haplogroup R1b, assuming genealogy is correct.

Addison LEONARD and Elizabeth Robbins CLARKE were married in 1810 in NY. Elizabeth Robbins CLARKE², daughter of James CLARKE and Jemima ROBBINS, was born on 25 October 1788 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., CT. She died on 25 August 1863 at the age of 74 in Kenosha, Kenosha Co., WI.

16	x.	Harriet Hulda LEONARD was born on 5 March 1831 in Truxton, Cortland Co., NY. She died on 2 April 1888 at the age of 57.
