224. Homer KELLS was born on 11 May 1872 in NY. He died in January 1971 at the age of 98 in Mellenville, Columbia Co., NY. In the 1900 Census, he and Maggie were living in Taghkanic, where he was a farm laborer. He was a farmer living with his family in Claverack in 1910. Jacob, John, and Homer, Jr., were living at home. He was living on Mellenville Road, Claverack, at the time of the 1930 Census. No wife is mentioned. He was a bottler at a ginger ale plant, and his sons are listed as helpers. In the 1940 Census, he and his sons were still living in Claverack; he was still working at the ginger ale plant as a laborer, as was one of his sons. Another son was working in a woolen mill, and the youngest two were working on the farm.

Homer KELLS and Margaret "Maggie" ROGERS were married in 1896 in Columbia Co, NY. Margaret "Maggie" ROGERS was born in 1873 in Ireland. She died in 1932 at the age of 59. She was buried in Reformed Dutch Church Cemetery, Claverack, Columbia Co., NY.
