107. Nathaniel Nesander Kennecot KELLS²² was born on 18 April 1831 in Churchtown, Columbia Co., NY.²² In the 1880 Census, he was living in Claverack, a farm laborer. His family was living with him. In the 1870 Census, they were living in Hollowville P.O., Claverack, NY. In 1900 they were living in Claverack (Philmont). They had had 9 children, of which 7 were living. They were still there in the 1910 Census, with son James living with them.

Nathaniel Nesander Kennecot KELLS and Caroline Ophelia SHELDON were married in 1856 in Columbia Co, NY. Caroline Ophelia SHELDON was born on 2 March 1839 in Claverack, Columbia Co., NY. She died on 10 April 1913 at the age of 74 in Auburn, Cayuga Co., NY. She went to live with her daughter, Lillie, in her later years.

Nathaniel Nesander Kennecot KELLS and Caroline Ophelia SHELDON had the following children:

218	i.	Adah KELLS was born in 1859. She died before 1880 at the age of 21.

220	iii.	Maria KELLS was born in 1862. She died on 7 April 1878 at the age of 16 in Churchtown, Columbia Co., NY. She was buried in St. Thomas Lutheran Church, Churchtown, Columbia County, NY.

222	v.	James M. KELLS was born in March 1867 in Claverack, Columbia Co., NY. He was living with his parents in Claverack at the time of the 1910 Census. He was a servant in the Cramer household in Ghent in the 1900 Census.
