Email Us | Descendants of Hendryk KellsHendryk Kells appears to have been born in Columbia County, New York, of parents for the Rheinland-Pfalz, usually called the Palatinate in America. But it's possible he was born here of parents born in America or elsewhere. My grandfather insisted that his origins were Scotch Irish and that the Kells came to New York in the 1680's. But I can't find any evidence to support this.
