11. Samuel LEONARD17 was born about 1683 in Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. He died on 11 May 1718 at the age of 35 in Preston, New London Co., CT. He was kidnapped by Indians in 1695. See Manning Leonard, pp. 51ff.

Did he have a second wife, Deborah? Did they have a daughter, Abigail, who married Isaac Reed 4 Jul 1722 in Griswold (CT Nutmegger, 2007)? Did he have a daughter, Phebe, baptized 17 Oct 1703?

Name was listed as Leonardson in early church records.

Samuel LEONARD and Lydia COOKE were married about 1706. Lydia COOKE, daughter of Richard COOKE, was born on 27 April 1679 in Stonington, CT. She died after 1739 at the age of 60 in Preston, New London Co., CT.
