849. Chester LEONARD⁵² was born on 16 April 1775 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.³¹ He died on 5 December 1818 at the age of 43 in Rutland, Rutland Co., VT. He moved to the vicinity of Boston and died there.

Chester LEONARD and Anne COCHRAN were married on 27 January 1801 in Granville, Hampden Co., MA. Anne COCHRAN, daughter of Cornelius COCHRAN, was born on 8 May 1780 in Blandford, Hampshire Co., MA. She died on 8 August 1827 at the age of 47 in Rutland, Rutland Co., VT.

Chester LEONARD and Anne COCHRAN had the following children:

1420	vi.	James Gilmore LEONARD was born on 3 May 1816 in NY. In the 1870 Census, a James G. Leonard, gold miner, b. 1816 in NY, was living in South Pass City, Sweetwater Co., Wyoming Territory.
