291. Phineas LEONARD²⁶ was born on 19 August 1751 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He died on 16 November 1847 at the age of 96 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He resided in West Springfield, was a soldier of the Revolution, obtained a pension, and died at age 94 or 96. Name also spelled Phinehas. DAR Patriot Index. There is also a Rev. War pension file.

Phineas LEONARD and Sybil LEONARD were married on 21 November 1782 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. Sybil LEONARD²⁹, daughter of Reuben LEONARD and Miriam DAY, was born on 20 June 1758 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. She died in 1792 at the age of 34.

Content CHAPMAN, daughter of Isaac CHAPMAN and Mary BRADFORD, was born on 8 August 1763 in Groton, New London Co., CT. She died on 23 July 1854 at the age of 90 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. She was married (1) to a Mr. Wheeler, who died in 1793.
