After Sylvester, 82, is listed Zerviah Robbins, 67, and Robey Dumbleton (F), 30. LDS records death of Sylvester as July 11, 1835. Probably wrong. His cousin Nathaniel Robbins and wife Elizabeth Deming of Wethersfield had a son Sylvester born November 8, 1786. Sylvester ROBBINS and Mary Beulah BESWICK were married on 16 May 1788 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., MA.150 Mary Beulah BESWICK, daughter of Everton BESWICK and Elizabeth CUDWORTH, was born on 8 March 1771 in Chesterfield, Hampshire Co., MA. She died on 14 July 1835 at the age of 64 in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., MA.151 She was buried in Pittsfield, Berkshire Co., MA. Her name in the marriage record is indistinct, and maiden name not given in the death record. Note in margin says "Berger." More likely, Benis, Beswick, or Bennis. Possibly Belding or Belden -- there were Beldings in Wethersfield, CT, where Robbins came from, and Silas Belding married one of Joshua's daughters. The Corbin Collection has it as Rebecca Beyer. Check Pittsfield and Wethersfield records. Marriage index refers to "F." Further checking, inconclusive, indicates it was "Beswick." A Rebeckah Beswick was born March 13, 1763, in Chesterfield; her sister Mary was born March 8, 1771, in Chesterfield; neither record indicates whom they married. Source of the marriage of Sylvester Robbins and Mary Beulah Beswick appears to be LDS submission. A Rebecca Belding was born May 28, 1765, in Wethersfield, CT., no indication that she married anyone else. Name corrected to Belden by a later descendant. Volume 15, page 246, NEHGS.
