165. Henry LEONARD Sr.51 was born about 1760 in NC. He died about 1803 at the age of 43 in Rowan Co., NC. In the 1790 Census, he was in Rowan Co. with a family of 1 male over 16 (himself), 2 males under 16, and 5 females.

When their father died, Charles and Jacob were guardianed out to William Hampton and Jacob Linn. On 6 Aug 1805 Jacob Leonard, orphan to Henry Leonard, age 10 years, one month, was bound to James Lamb to learn the trade of wheelright.

Henry Leonard, orphan to Henry Leonard, was guardianed to John Brown.

Daughters were named Mary, Phebe, Elizabeth, Rebecca, Mahala, and Nancy?

Were there also sons Joseph, b. abt. 1799, James, b. about 1794/96?

The family apparently lived in Randolph County at the time of the 1810 Census.

Henry LEONARD Sr. and Elizabeth were married before 1790 in NC. Elizabeth died in 1830 in Salisbury.
