518. John GALLOP^8,332 was born on 25 January 1620 in Mosterne, Dorset, England. He died on 19 December 1675 at the age of 55 in Narragansett Fort, Kingston, RI.⁸ He came in 1633 with his mother and three siblings to join his father. He gained the reputation as a great Indian fighter in the Pequot War of 1637. He applied for a home lot in New London, CT by 1651 and in 1654 removed with his family to 450 acres of land he owned on the west side of the Mystic River in what is now Stonington. He was killed 19 December 1675 in the Narragansett Swamp Fight of King Philip's War, where he was a captain. Hannah LAKE and John GALLOP were married before 1644 in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA.⁸

519. Hannah LAKE was born on 3 July 1621 in North Benfleet, Essex, England. She died on 19 December 1675 at the age of 54 in Stonington, CT.
