He was admitted a freeman of Plymouth 1637 and moved to Duxbury shortly thereafter, receiving a grant of land near the North River. He held many government offices during his lifetime, including Assistant, Deputy, and Treasurer. Elizabeth died on 15 August 1709 at the age of 55 in Bristol, RI. Doublecheck parentage of Elizabeth Southworth. There were probably several Elizabeth Southworths. This may or may not be the one born to Constant in 1654. According to extensive research by Dorothy Chapman Saunders, this is the Elizabeth Southworth who was the daughter of Constant. After Constant died, his widow Elizabeth Collyer Southworth, two daughters, Elizabeth and Priscilla, and son William moved to Bristol. She was the one who was not to marry William Fobes, according to Constant's will. She died from a fall from a horse.
	vii.	Mary SOUTHWORTH was born in 1654 in Duxbury, Plymouth, MA. She died after 28 March 1718 at the age of 64.
	viii.	Priscilla SOUTHWORTH was born in 1645. She died on 11 June 1722 at the age of 77.

	x.	Capt. William SOUTHWORTH³³⁴ was born in 1659 in Duxbury, Plymouth Co., MA. He was born about 1659. He was born about 1659 in Duxbury, MA. William died on 25 June 1719 at the age of 60 in Little Compton, Newport Co., RI. He died on 25 June 1719 at the age of 60 in Little Compton, RI. He was buried in Commons Cemetery, Little Compton, RI. Gravestone: "Here lyeth Interred the Body of Capt Wm. Southworth, Esq. who departed this life June ye 25. 1719 in the 60th year of his age." William's will: Taunton Probate Records, book 3, page 575, entered 27 Aug 1719.
