494. Samuel HUMPHREY³⁰⁴ was born in 1649 in Dorchester, MA. He died in 1699 at the age of 50. He removed to Weymouth with his father while a child. He was made a freeman in 1678 and served as a selectman there. About 1699 he removed to Barrington, Rhode Island, with his family. He was town treasurer there, and also served as town clerk 1718 to 1722.

All his children were born in Weymouth. Mary TORREY and Samuel HUMPHREY were married in 1678 in Weymouth, Norfolk Co., MA.

495. Mary TORREY was born on 14 February 1657 in Scituate, Plymouth Co, MA. She died on 19 May 1740 at the age of 83 in Concord, Middlesex Co., MA.

Children were:

	ii.	Samuel HUMPHREY was born on 23 December 1681.
	iii.	John HUMPHREY was born on 19 February 1684 in Weymouth, Norfolk Co., MA. He died on 11 July 1751 at the age of 67 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA.
	iv.	Joshua HUMPHREY was born on 9 December 1686.
	v.	James HUMPHREY was born on 21 April 1689.

	vii.	Mary HUMPHREY was born on 1 February 1692.
	viii.	Jonah HUMPHREY was born in 1696.
