984. Richard PEARSE³⁵¹ was born about 1615 in Bristol, Somerset, England. He died on 22 April 1677 at the age of 62 in Portsmouth, Newport Co., RI. He was living at Prudence Island on Narragansett Bay on 14 September 1647 when he acknowledged receipt of a fifth of the legacy for the children of John Wright left by his wife's grandfather, Ralph Dell of Bow in Middlesex, England. Susannah WRIGHT and Richard PEARSE were married on 6 May 1642 in Waltham Abbey, Essex, England.

985. Susannah WRIGHT was born on 5 August 1627 in Bristol, Somerset, England. She died in 1678 at the age of 51 in Portsmouth, Newport Co., RI.

Children were:

492	i.	Richard PEARSE.
	ii.	Martha PEARSE was born on 13 September 1645. She died on 4 February 1744 at the age of 98.
	iii.	John PEARSE³⁵¹ was born on 8 September 1647. He was born on 8 September 1647 in Portsmouth, Newport Co., RI. He died on 5 December 1707 at the age of 60 in Tiverton, RI. John died on 5 December 1707 at the age of 60 in Tiverton, Newport Co., RI. He was made a freeman of Portsmouth April 28, 1669, and of the colony of Rhode Island on 2 May 1671. He made land purchases in Pocasset, later Tiverton, and probably moved there in 1682/3. He lived in Tiverton when the town was organized on 2 March 1692 and held the office of Ensign of Militia.
	iv.	Giles PEARSE was born on 22 July 1651. He died in 1698 at the age of 47 in East Greenwich, RI.
	v.	Susanna PEARSE was born on 20 November 1652. She died in February 1743 at the age of 90. She was also known as Susanna Pearce. Susanna was also known as Susannah Pearce.

	vii.	Jeremiah PEARSE was born on 17 November 1656.
	viii.	Isaac PEARSE was born on 22 December 1658.
	ix.	George PEARSE was born on 10 July 1662. He died on 3 September 1752 at the age of 90. They had no children, according to Ancestral Lines, Third Edition.
	x.	Samuel PEARSE was born on 22 December 1664.
