668. Edward THURSTON²⁹⁸ was born in 1617. He died on 1 March 1707 at the age of 90 in Newport, Newport Co., RI. He came to America before 1647. Their marriage was the third marriage on the record of the Society of Friends in Newport. He was a freeman in 1655, a commissioner and assistant deputy 1663-1690. 669. Elizabeth MOTT³⁵² was born in 1629 in Cambridge, England. She died on 2 September 1694 at the age of 65 in Newport, Newport Co., RI. She was buried in Coddington Burial Ground, Newport, RI.

	vii.	Daniel THURSTON²⁹⁸ was born in April 1661 in Newport, Newport Co., RI.
	viii.	Rebecca THURSTON²⁹⁸ was born in April 1662. She died on 16 September 1737 at the age of 75.
	ix.	John THURSTON was born in December 1664 in Newport, Newport Co., RI. He died on 22 October 1690 at the age of 25 in Newport, Newport Co., RI. He was buried in Clifton Burial Ground.
	x.	Content THURSTON was born in June 1667.
	xi.	Samuel THURSTON²⁹⁸ was born on 24 August 1669 in Newport, Newport Co., RI. He died on 26 October 1747 at the age of 78 in Newport, Newport Co., RI.
	xii.	Thomas THURSTON was born on 8 October 1671. He died on 22 March 1730 at the age of 58.
