1424. William Lynn ALMY was born about 1601 in South Kilworth, Lancashire, England. He died on 23 April 1677 at the age of 76 in Portsmouth, Newport Co., RI. He settled first prior to 1631 in Saugus with other Leicester men, but returned to England. He arrived a second time on the ship Abigail in 1635 with wife Audrey, 32, daughter Ann, 8, and son Christopher, 3. He went in 1637 to Sandwich, where he received eight and a half acres, later selling it to Edmund Freeman. He was in Portsmouth, RI, in November 1644 and received a grant of land at Wading River. He made a will February 28, 1676, proved in 1677, sons Christopher and Job to be executors. He left half his farm each to sons Christopher and Job.

His father was Christopher, according to TAG XX, no. 3. The Almey pedigree appears in Vis. Northants. 1619 by Metcalf. Audrey BARLOWE and William Lynn ALMY were married on 22 May 1629 in Lutterworth, Leicester, England.

1425. Audrey BARLOWE was born in 1603. She died in 1676 at the age of 73.
