396. William BLANDING³⁰⁶ was born on 10 May 1643 in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA. He died on 15 November 1724 at the age of 81 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA. From New England Families, Genealogical and Memorial, Volume 3, p. 1181:
(II) William (2), son of William (1) Blanding settled at Rehoboth, Massachusetts, where in May 1680, it was agreed by the authorities of the town that he should have one-half acre of land or the common upon which to build a house. Mr. Blanding contributed money to the town to assist the expedition against the Indians 1675-76. He married September 4, 1674, Bethia Wheaton, and their children of Rehoboth record, were: William, of whom further; Samuel, April 11, 1680; Obadiah, April 15, 1683; Daniel, October 25, 1685; John, June 20, 1687; Ephraim, Oct 30, 1689; Noah, March 7, 1690.

397. Bethia WHEATON was born on 20 May 1652 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA. She died on 16 April 1709 at the age of 56 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA.
