He was a tailors shear and scissor cutler living at Ct 1 House 1, Ecclesall Bierlow, Yorkshire, England. Same for 1891 Census. In the 1901 Census, the family was living at 58 Carver Street, Ecclesall Bierlow. Henry and his son John were listed as scissorsmiths, crossed out, butler written in. By 1911, Henry was dead; Sarah headed the household, and John William, Blanche, and Florence were living with her at 88 Williams St.

Henry and Herbert were living with their grandparents, George and Mary, in the 1851 Census.
