She married (1) George Pearse, probably the source of the Peabody genealogy Pearse. She is buried with her husband, Abigail Leonard, her mother, and various other relatives. Her middle name is also listed as Minerva. Her death certificate lists it as Munro. Munro seems likely, given her ancestry. She died of insufficiency of the mitral and pulmonary valves, cardiac hypertrophy and dilitation, and senile marasmus. She was living at 477 Hope Street in Providence when she died. Fitz Herbert PEABODY, son of Thomas Huddy PEABODIE and Sarah A. SLOCUM, was born on 16 September 1826 in Bristol, RI. He died on 22 December 1903 at the age of 77 in Bristol, RI.68 He was buried at Lot 653-654 in North Burial Ground, Bristol, R.I.. #945 - Peabody Genealogy, 1909. He was a carpenter. Listed as living in Bristol in 1850 RI Census, with wife Phoebe, stepdaughter (?) Susan Pearce, 8, and daughter Ella H., 1. In the 1870 Census, he was living in the 3rd Ward in Providence. Abby Leonard was living with the family. In the 1880 Census, he was living in the 3rd Ward, Providence. In the death notice of his mother, he was mentioned as being a member of the Providence City Council. In the 1889 Providence City Directory, he was listed as Fitz Herbert Peabody and son (William G. Peabody), carpenters, Hope St. near Charles Field, living at 59 John. In the 1900 Census, he and his wife were living with son Frank West Peabody and family. Listed as kin at death: Thomas H. and ?? Peabody. They are all buried in a lot with Ann Peabody and John H. Leonard. The stone is very close to Abbie D. Leonard's and reads: "1825 - Fitz Herbert Peabody - 1903, 1820 - Phoebe M. Leonard - 1902, 1849 - Ella H. Peabody - 1858, 1851 - Mary A. G. Peabody - 1858, 1857 - Frank W. Peabody - 1935, his wife, 1856 - Harriet V. Hubbert - 1884, his wife, 1861- Alice M. Eager - 1912."
