952. Samuel Towne LEONARD²⁰² was born on 30 April 1841 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA. In the 1870 Census, Samuel was a carriage maker, living in Newfane, Windham Co., with his wife, Catherine, and his son, Phelps.

Samuel Towne LEONARD and Katherine Holtone PHELPS were married on 19 September 1866. Katherine Holtone PHELPS was born about 1847 in VT.

Samuel Towne LEONARD and Katherine Holtone PHELPS had the following children:

2001	i.	Phelps Francis LEONARD²⁰² was born on 31 August 1868. He died on 6 June 1870 at the age of 1.
2002	ii.	Katherine LEONARD²⁰² was born on 12 August 1875 in Grafton, Windham Co., VT. She died on 24 October 1962 at the age of 87 in Moorhead, MN.
2003	iii.	Flossie Achsah LEONARD was born in 1876. She died in 1957 at the age of 81.
