393. Joel LEONARD¹⁰² was born on 9 March 1787 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA. He died on 8 April 1863 at the age of 76. The last two children are not with the family in the 1850 Census. David would have died, but Samuel, who later married, should be alive.

Joel LEONARD and Abigail DELVEE were married on 21 June 1824 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA. Abigail DELVEE²⁰², daughter of Jonathan DELVEE and Hannah JOHNSON, was born on 5 December 1800 in Warwick, MA. She died on 28 September 1882 at the age of 81 in Townshend, VT.

Joel LEONARD and Abigail DELVEE had the following children:

946	i.	William LEONARD was born on 11 April 1825 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA. He died on 1 January 1900 at the age of 74 in Townshend, VT. In the 1870 Census, William was a farmer living with his mother in Townshend, Windham Co., VT. His brother Joel was also living in Townshend.

948	iii.	Abigail LEONARD was born about 1833 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA. She died on 21 July 1895 at the age of 62 in Townshend, VT.
949	iv.	Francis LEONARD²⁰² was born in 1825 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA. Was he born in 1825 or 1835, or were there two Francises, the earlier one having died? 1850 Census has a Francis born in 1835 in VT. Did he die in 1875? Did he marry Mary A. Moore?

951	vi.	Moses LEONARD was born about 1839 in Jamaica, Windham Co., VT. He died about 1870 at the age of 31.

953	viii.	David LEONARD was born in 1845 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA. He died in 1848 at the age of 3 in Warwick, Franklin Co., MA.
