1319. James Henry LEONARD⁴⁹⁹ was born on 16 December 1797 in NY.¹⁰⁴ He died on 28 July 1882 at the age of 84 in Niagara County, NY.¹⁰⁴ He was buried in Corwin Cemetery, Newfane, Niagara Co., NY. According to the censuses from 1830 to 1880, he resided in Newfane, Niagara Co., NY. The 1850 Census indicates he was born in NJ.

According to Leila Menzies (leilamenzies@aol.com), this family remained in Niagara County while others moved to Michigan.

Mary VAN TASSEL⁴⁹⁷ was born in 1797 in NJ. She died on 16 July 1876 at the age of 79 in Newfane, Niagara Co., NY.¹⁰⁴ She was buried in Corwin Cemetery, Newfane, Niagara Co., NY.
