1324. Chauncey LEONARD⁴⁹⁷ was born on 8 May 1811 in NY. He died on 23 December 1885 at the age of 74 in Hillsdale Co., MI. They resided in Fayette, Hillsdale Co., MI in the 1850 Census, Jefferson, Hillsdale Co. in the 1860 and 1870 Censuses, and Sand Lake, Kent Co., MI, in the 1880 Census.

Chauncey LEONARD and Sally Jane HOWELL were married on 18 October 1832 in NY. Sally Jane HOWELL⁴⁹⁷ was born in 1814. She died in 1889 at the age of 75.

Chauncey LEONARD and Sally Jane HOWELL had the following children:

2427	i.	Cordelia LEONARD⁴⁹⁷ was born in 1834 in Niagara Co., NY. She died on 11 February 1900 at the age of 66 in Emmet, MI.

2430	iv.	Mary J. LEONARD⁴⁹⁷ was born in 1842 in MI.
2431	v.	James B. LEONARD⁴⁹⁷ was born in January 1850 in MI.⁴⁹⁷ He died on 29 July 1929 at the age of 79 in San Diego, CA.
