258. Jemima LEONARD³¹ was born in 1762 in Morristown, Morris Co., NJ. She died on 25 April 1814 at the age of 52 in Middleton, Columbiana Co., OH.¹⁷⁴ A descendant of Jemima is said to be the only member of this branch to become a member of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants through James Chilton via a granddaughter who married Solomon Leonard.

Jemima LEONARD and Joseph BURT were married in 1785 in Bentleyville, Washington Co., PA. Joseph BURT¹⁷⁴, son of Jotham BURT and Mary HAYWOOD, was born on 9 July 1757 in Franklin, Fayette Co., PA. He was born on 9 July 1757 in Franklin, Fayette Co., PA. He died on 17 April 1814 at the age of 56 in Middleton, Columbiana Co., OH.¹⁷⁴ Joseph died in 1814 at the age of 57 in Middleton, Columbiana Co., OH. They moved from Washington Co., PA, to Columbiana Co., OH in 1812. Joseph bough 158 1/2 acres in Section 1, Middleton twp, and their eastern property line was the state line of PA. Joseph was also a tanner and a shoemaker.They moved in 1812 to Columbiana Co., OH, formed in 1803. Their farm ran along the PA border near that of her brother, Silas, whose farm was on the PA side.
