594. Rev. Levi Washburn LEONARD330 was born on 1 June 1790 in Bridgewater, Plymouth Co., MA. He died on 12 December 1864 at the age of 74 in Exeter, NH. He prepared for college at Bridgewater Academy and graduated from Harvard College in the class of 1815. He studed theology at Cambridge and was ordained minister of the First Congregational Society in Dublin, NH, whom he served for 35 years. He also devoted much attention to the science of entomology and one species of insect was named in honor of him, Hesteria Leonardus. He was a Unitarian clergyman, educator, and author.
