Seventh Generation

1012. Hervey LEONARD⁴¹² was born on 9 March 1823 in Birmingham, Loraine Co., OH. He died on 30 July 1911 at the age of 88 in Oberlin, Lorain Co., OH. He inherited his father's farm in Birmingham and remained there until 1872, when he removed to Oberlin and built the New Era Flouring Mills and continued in the grain and milling business for a number of years. He then removed to Saratoga Springs, NY.

Hervey LEONARD and Maretta O. WHEDON were married on 10 January 1849. Maretta O. WHEDON, daughter of David WHEDON and Olive WILSON, was born on 9 September 1822 in Hebron, Washington Co., NY. She died on 19 September 1868 at the age of 46 in Birmingham, Erie Co., OH.

Hervey LEONARD and Maretta O. WHEDON had the following children:

2072	iii.	Jesse Maretta LEONARD⁴¹³ was born on 26 June 1861 in Birmingham, Loraine Co., OH. She died on 18 September 1888 at the age of 27 in Birmingham, Erie Co., OH. She graduated from Oberlin College in 1881.
2073	iv.	Cuyler Whedon LEONARD⁴¹³ was born on 11 May 1864 in Birmingham, Loraine Co., OH. He died on 10 October 1864 at the age of 0 in Birmingham, Loraine Co., OH.
