10. Benjamin LEONARD¹¹ was born before 14 August 1794 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. He was baptized on 14 August 1794 in Saint Phillips, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.⁵ He died on 1 July 1859 at the age of 64 in Suffolk Street, Bethnal Green. The 1851 Census identified Benjamin, Martha, and Mary as living at 29 West Street, Mile End, Old Town. He was a gunmaker. In the 1841 Census, he was listed as an engineer.

Is he the son of Samuel or of Thomas? Thomas' son was born in 1796, which fits better.

Benjamin LEONARD and Martha ALLESON were married on 1 March 1824 in Saint Phillips, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.¹² Martha ALLESON was born in 1795.
