John LEONARD and Sarah BRANSBY were married on 5 March 1821 in Saint Martin, Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.¹⁴ Sarah BRANSBY was born about 1801 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England. No husband is listed in the 1841 Census, and Sarah is head of household. Elizabeth Wood, 66, is living with the family.

John LEONARD and Sarah BRANSBY had the following children:

31	i.	Samuel LEONARD was born on 2 June 1821 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.¹⁵ In the 1841 Census, he was an apprentice gun maker.
32	ii.	Henry LEONARD was born on 14 July 1824 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.¹⁵ In the 1841 Census, he was an apprentice template maker. He's not in the 1851 Census.
33	iii.	William LEONARD was born on 2 April 1826 in Birmingham, Warwickshire, England.¹⁶ In the 1841 Census, he was an apprentice gun polisher. He doesn't appear to be in the 1851 Census.
