6. Mary LEONARD¹ was born on 14 September 1647 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. She died on 11 March 1724 at the age of 76 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA.

Mary LEONARD and Samuel BLISS were married on 10 November 1665 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. Samuel BLISS, son of Thomas BLISS and Margaret HULINS, was born about 1642 in Hartford, Hartford Co., CT. He died on 23 March 1720 at the age of 78 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. Was he born in England in 1624? Did he come over with his parents in 1635?

He must have been still alive in March 1676 when he and Joseph Leonard, as uncles to the children of slain Sarah Leonard and John Keep, were granted custodianship of their three remaining children and administration of their estate. See Old Hampshire Probate, 1:109, 172, 179, 180; 3:72-3.

40	x.	Margaret BLISS was born on 18 September 1684 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. She died on 11 September 1735 at the age of 50 in Newcastle, Rockingham Co., NH.
41	xi.	Thomas BLISS was born in 1685 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He died in 1757 at the age of 72.
