Abigail ELY and John WOODS were married on 10 October 1781. John WOODS, son of Ebenezer WOODS and Eunice BOYDEN, was born on 28 October 1761 in Pepperell, Middlesex Co., MA. He died on 21 October 1818 at the age of 56 in Windsor, Windsor Co., VT. They had 13 children: Abigail, John, Solomon, Lucy, Ebenezer, Sampson, Betsey, Frederick B. French, Elsie, Leonard, Fanny, Sophia, and Riley Chapin Woods.
