454. Deborah LEONARD was born on 2 July 1784 in Massachusetts. Deborah married Joseph Grace, Jr., and was the mother of Ambrose, James U., Maria (Mrs. David Brooks) and Betsy (Mrs. Chauncy Brooks).

She was apparently in delicate health in 1804. Quote from her brother, Abel, who was in Springfield, PA, and wrote back to his mother:

..."Give my compliments to Deborah and tell her that I want to hear from her more than my pen is able to express, for I consider her in a dangerous situation though I said nothing, but I thought when I parted with her, never to see her again, but I am in hopes to hear something different from what I have written..."

Deborah LEONARD and Joseph GRACE Jr. were married on 25 November 1802 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. Joseph GRACE Jr., son of Joseph GRACE and Mara SERGEANT, was born on 26 November 1783 in West Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He died on 9 February 1825 at the age of 41.

Deborah LEONARD and Joseph GRACE Jr. had the following children:

966	i.	Ambrose GRACE was born about 1803 in Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He died in 1882 at the age of 79 in Springfield, Bradford Co., PA.
967	ii.	Jane GRACE was born in 1807. She died on 1 October 1840 at the age of 33 in Smithfield, Bradford Co., PA.
+968	iii.	Maria GRACE.
969	iv.	James Upham GRACE was born on 11 December 1811 in Springfield, Bradford Co., PA. He died on 8 September 1865 at the age of 53 in Springfield, Bradford Co., PA.
+970	v.	Betsy GRACE.
971	vi.	Joseph Leonard GRACE was born in 1832 in Bradford Co., PA. He died on 19 August 1912 at the age of 80 in Bradford Co., PA.
