1675. James Loren LEONARD was born on 5 June 1821 in Lowville, Lewis Co., NY. He died on 26 January 1867 at the age of 45 in Lowville, Lewis Co., NY. He was President and princiapl owner of the Bank of Lowville, trustee of Lowville Academy, member and trustee of the Presbyterian Church, a generous, open-hearted public spirited man. He accumulated a very considerable estate.

James Loren LEONARD and Mary M. WILLARD were married on 25 January 1858. Mary M. WILLARD, daughter of Joseph R. WILLARD, was born on 24 December 1838 in Lowville, Lewis Co., NY. She died on 11 August 1858 at the age of 19 in Lowville, Lewis Co., NY.
