32. Chester Marshall LEONARD was born on 18 November 1840 in Elmira, Chemung Co., NY. He died on 16 January 1925 at the age of 84 in Chicago, Cook Co., IL. He enlisted in Co. A, 1st Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry, promoted to corporal 26 Aug 1861, promoted to 2nd Lt. 28 Nov 1864, promoted to 1st Lt. 28 Nov 1864, mustered out 1 Sep 1865.

Chester Marshall LEONARD and Lydia Ann BURDICK were married on 7 December 1866 in Racine, Kenosha Co., WI. Lydia Ann BURDICK was born in 1850. She died in 1912 at the age of 62.
