5. John Frederick LEONARD was born in December 1845 in NY. He died on 26 May 1928 at the age of 82 in Johnson City, Broome Co., NY. He was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor, Broome Co., NY.¹ John and Lucy were living in Preston, PA, in 1880. John and Alice were living in Preston in 1900, in Thompson, PA, in 1910, and in Windsor, NY, in 1920, according to the censuses. John was a farmer.

John Frederick LEONARD and Lucy Jane WALL were married. Lucy Jane WALL was born about 1850 in PA. She died in 1880 at the age of 30.

John Frederick LEONARD and Lucy Jane WALL had the following children:

+17	ii.	Leroy Elmer LEONARD.
+18	iii.	Frederick S. LEONARD.

John Frederick LEONARD and Alice Elsie PLEW were married on 9 May 1881. They had seven children. Alice Elsie PLEW was born on 13 August 1865 in Herrick, Susquehanna Co., PA. She died on 23 November 1941 at the age of 76 in Abington, Lackawanna Co., PA.¹

John Frederick LEONARD and Alice Elsie PLEW had the following children:

19	i.	Naomi LEONARD¹ was born in 1886 in Preston, Wayne Co., PA. She died in 1895 at the age of 9 in Preston, Wayne Co., PA.
+20	ii.	Rurick Eugene LEONARD.
21	iii.	Ruth LEONARD¹ was born on 25 December 1891 in PA. She died on 1 April 1976 at the age of 84.
22	iv.	Noel LEONARD was born in September 1894 in PA. He died before 1910 at the age of 16. Was his name Noel Leonard (per 1900 Census)? Or Navil?
+23	v.	Clive De Verne LEONARD.
+24	vi.	John Subina LEONARD.
25	vii.	Gerald L. LEONARD¹ was born about 1902 in PA. He died on 17 September 1921 at the age of 19. In the 1920 Census, he was living with his brother Clive's family in Union, Broome Co., NY. He was a can maker in a factory.
