Email Us | Descendants of James Leonard 1698-1776 of Castle Camp, Cambridgeshire, EnglandSome of the descendants of this James moved to Australia. I’ve found a hint that these Leonards could be related to the Gloucestershire Leonards. Also, the marriage of the second James to an Onyon hints that perhaps these Leonards are related to the Iron Leonard families, in that the Onyons were among the ironworkers recruited from France in the 1400’s-1500’s.
