2937. Rev. Edwin LEONARD²⁷⁴⁸ was born on 26 November 1826 in Brewer, ME. He died on 22 May 1908 at the age of 81 in Melrose, MA. He prepared for college in the Bangor public schools. He graduated from Bowdoin in 1847. He then entered the Theological Seminary at Bangor in 1850. He went first to Rochester, MA, for 8 years, then to South Dartmouth for 8 years, then to Morris and Litchfield, CT.

Rev. Edwin LEONARD and Harriet Ann EMERSON were married on 1 May 1853. Harriet Ann EMERSON, daughter of Joshua EMERSON and Ann BABCOCK, was born on 9 September 1832. She died on 19 July 1855 at the age of 22 in East Milton, ME.

Rev. Edwin LEONARD and Sarah Gulliver FAIRBANKS were married on 2 February 1858. Sarah Gulliver FAIRBANKS, daughter of Josiah FAIRBANKS and Sarah Elizabeth GULLIVER, was born on 26 February 1837.

Rev. Edwin LEONARD and Sarah Gulliver FAIRBANKS had the following children:

4760	ii.	Edwin LEONARD²⁷⁵⁰ was born on 30 September 1865. He died on 2 November 1869 at the age of 4 in South Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA.
4761	iii.	Edwin LEONARD²⁷⁵¹ was born on 10 July 1871. He was a graduate of Amherst 1894, MD, Harvard, 1898. In 1901 he was at the Pathological Laboratory of Reed and Cammick in Jersey City, NJ.
