3. George LEONARD was born on 26 August 1776 in Lenox, Berkshire Co., MA. He died in 1833 at the age of 57 in China, Genesee Co., NY. He is described as "George Leonard of Shoreham" until 1808, when he moved to Highgate, Franklin Co., VT.

George died of consumption (tuberculosis).

George LEONARD and Olive SEGAR were married on 1 May 1806 in Franklin Co., VT. Olive SEGAR, daughter of Ephraim SEGAR and Olive BARTON, was born in 1787 in Western MA. She died in 1855 at the age of 68 in Rochester, Monroe Co., NY. She was buried in Mt Hope Cemetery, Rochester, Monroe Co., NY. Name may be spelled "Seager" or "Seeger."

George LEONARD and Olive SEGAR had the following children:
