121. Joseph LEONARD was born on 21 January 1799 in Guilford Co., NC. He died on 8 January 1839 at the age of 39 in Guilford Co., NC. There were at least two and perhaps three Josephs who married Nancys: one to Nancy Lowder, another to Nancy Kennedy/Cannedy, a third to Nancy Vickers. Ample opportunity to get them and their children mixed up.

Joseph LEONARD and Nancy LOWDER were married on 29 July 1820 in Guilford Co., NC. Nancy LOWDER was born in 1803. She died in 1864 at the age of 61. A Mr. Hurley of Gaithersburg, MD, is said to be the expert on the Lowder family.

Joseph LEONARD and Nancy LOWDER had the following children:
