42. Joseph LEONARD was born in 1765 in Colony, Laurel Co., KY. This is suspicious -- was there a KY in 1765? He died in 1823 at the age of 58 in Guilford Co., NC. There are varying dates given for the birth of and death of this Joseph Leonard (note that there was another Joseph Leonard born in Guilford Co. in 1765). This Joseph is sometimes mixed up with his cousin who was also born in 1765.

Joseph LEONARD and Charity LAMB were married. Charity LAMB was born in 1770. She died in 1850 at the age of 80. Also said to have married Charity Swaim who was b. abt. 1767 in Randolph Co.

Dates for marriage to Charity Lamb given as 1798 and 19 Jan 1815 (later seems unlikely, as Charity would have been 45).
