443. Elizabeth STOKES was born on 28 October 1638 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA. She died after 1704 at the age of 66 in Dartmouth, Bristol Co., MA. The RI Court ordered that "whereas Mrs. Morrice doth petition and request the Assembly that her grandchild, Mary Stoakes, standing under sentence to be twice whipped...that said sentence should be remited," the sentence shuuld be altered to 5 pounds in silver.
