956. William BROWNELL was born in 1648. He was born in 1653 in Prob. Portsmouth, RI. He died in 1715 at the age of 67 in Dartmouth, MA. He was a freeman of Portsmouth as of 9 April 1675, but was elected surveyor of highways in Little Compton at its first meeting of freeman 9 April 1683. 957. Sarah SMITON was born about 1653. She died in 1716 at the age of 63 in Dartmouth, MA.

	iii.	Martha BROWNELL was born on 24 May 1678 in Little Compton, Newport Co., RI.
	iv.	Ann BROWNELL was born on 4 June 1680 in Portsmouth, Newport Co., RI.
	v.	Robert BROWNELL died after 1675 in North Kingston, RI. He was born on 11 April 1688 in Little Compton, RI.
