52. Charles DYER was born on 22 March 1697 in Little Compton, RI. He died in July 1778 at the age of 81 in Little Compton, RI. He and Elizabeth were married by Richard Billings. They probably lived on the John Dyer Road, for according to witnesses of her will they lived in the ast part of town. The census of 1774 shows her to be living next to the Stoddards on Dyer Road. Elizabeth SHREVE and Charles DYER were married on 21 January 1717 in Little Compton, RI.

53. Elizabeth SHREVE was born on 20 May 1698 in Middletown, RI. She died in July 1778 at the age of 80 in Little Compton, RI. See also "The Genealogy and History of the Shreve Family from 1641," L. P. Allen, Greenfield, IL, 1901.

	ix.	James DYER was born on 10 January 1728.

	xiii.	Charles DYER was born on 8 April 1734 in Little Compton, RI. He died in 1772 at the age of 38 in Hopkinton, RI.

	xv.	Benjamin DYER was born on 15 October 1736. He was unmarried.
