Ridley's Mass. Cit in May 1775. On July 1776 he enlisted and served 2 mos. as private in Crown Point and Lake Champlain expedition in Capt. Barnard Eddy's R.I. Mil. Co. He also served as a private in Capt. James Hills' company, Col. Williams Regiment, service from Sept. 29, 1777 to October 30, 1777, at Tiverton, R.I. (battle of Rhode Island?) as a boatman. He was placed on the pension roll in 1832 for service as a private. Huldah IDE and William EDDY were married on 15 November 1771 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA. 49. Huldah IDE was born on 11 June 1754 in Rehoboth, Bristol Co., MA. She died on 12 August 1788 at the age of 34. She was buried in PV001 North Burial Ground, Providence. Children were:
