50. Peter PECKHAM was born in 1753 in Newport, Newport Co., RI. He died on 28 August 1828 at the age of 75 in Providence, RI. He is #101 in Peckham Genealogy. He lived in Newport and Providence. He's mentioned in his nephew's (James) will (1826), as is Betsey. Betsey BALL and Peter PECKHAM were married on 15 April 1787 in Newport, Newport Co., RI.

51. Betsey BALL was born about 1756 in Bristol, RI. She was also known as Elizabeth "Betsey" Ball. One source listed Elizabeth Ball has having been born in Bristol, RI. There is a Betsy Ball, b. 1753, d. 1831, buried in Old Cemetery, Block Island.

If her mother was Hannah Simmons as indicated, then her mother was over 50 when Betsey was born.

	iii.	Mary Ann PECKHAM died in Uxbridge, MA.
	iv.	Charles W. PECKHAM died in Providence, Providence Co., Rhode Island. He apparently never married.
	v.	Sophia PECKHAM was born on 10 January 1795 in Middleton, Newport, RI. She died on 11 August 1848 at the age of 53 in Providence, RI.
	vi.	Benjamin Hall PECKHAM was born in 1798 in Middleton, Newport, RI. He died on 22 June 1829 at the age of 31 in Providence, RI.
