John BLYSSE was born before 2 February 1562 in Daventry, Northamptonshire, England.⁴²⁵ He died on 8 September 1617 at the age of 55 in Preston Capes, Northamptonshire, England.⁴²⁵ He was buried in Preston Capes, Northamptonshire, England. The origins of John Blysse are disputed. Those in the Bliss Genealogy by John Homer Bliss have been thoroughly disproven. That would include the Blisses of Belstone, Devonshire. C. A. Hoppin has assumed a direct line from Richard Blysse in "The Blysse Book," 1913. This also has yet to be proven out.
