Eleventh Generation

1100. John COOMBS was born about 1607 in England. He died before 15 October 1646 at the age of 39. John Coombs was consistently referred to as "Mr." or "gent" he was constantly embroiled in situations that would have been more appropriate for someone at the opposite end of the social spectrum. As noted, he was disenfranchised for excessive drinking. He was also involved in several cases of debt, which he lost. William Spooner was his servant. Sarah PRIEST and John COOMBS were married about 1631.

1101. Sarah PRIEST was born about 1615 in Leyden, Holland. She came on The Anne in June 1623, age 8. She married about 1632. She apparently left her children with William Spooner when she returned to England in 1645. Her father came over on the Mayflower and hence all the children are Mayflower descendants.
