226. Joseph HAMMOND²²⁴ was born on 11 December 1714 in Scituate, Plymouth Co, MA. History of the Town of Scituate notes that Joseph Hammond had 12 children born between 1738 and 1764. The family lived in Rochester, MA.

Paul at the Mayflower Society listed Joseph as #72736 in the descendants of Francis Cooke and Richard Warren, a possible route to proving Mayflower descendancy. Thankful DAMON and Joseph HAMMOND were married on 11 November 1736 in Scituate, Plymouth Co, MA.²²⁵

227. Thankful DAMON was born before 9 June 1722 in Scituate, Plymouth Co, MA. She died in 1785 at the age of 63 in Sandwich, MA.
