150. Charles Alfred REGESTER was born in January 1873 in Birmingham, Warwick, England. He died in 1921 at the age of 48 in Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI. According to the 1900 Census, he was a silver chaser, and he came to America in 1879 (2 years before his father, when he was 6 years old?). The Census gives his birthdate as 1873, not 1871. He graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 1893 and worked for Gorham Manufacturing Co., as did other members of the family.

In the 1920 Census, her parents were living in Grand Rapids and were supervisors in a funeral home.

Charles Alfred REGESTER and Paulina SCHWARZ were married on 16 December 1899 in Providence, RI. Paulina SCHWARZ was born in May 1883 in Bohemia. According to the 1920 Census, she spoke German as a native language and was born in Bohemia. Her father was born in France and her mother in Bohemia. She ran a boarding house for orphans. According to family lore, there was a fire in the house, and several orphans died. Pauline was blamed. After that, they left Los Angeles and went back to Grand Rapids, MI.

Pauline (Ruth?) REGESTER was born (date unknown). She lived in San Francisco, estranged from her family. Family said she was mentally ill, but she may have been gay, which was unacceptable in those days.

Eva Cornelia DAVIS was born in 1874. She died on 12 August 1899 at the age of 25 in Providence, RI.
