246. Lillian M. "Pat or Patricia" REGESTER was born on 31 August 1886 in East Providence, RI. She died on 26 May 1954 at the age of 67 in Cranston, Providence Co., RI. Husband (Facts Page): Dodge . She was buried. #5439 in section 19, north side of Acorn Avenue and 83 ft. west of the junction of Acorn and Elmwood Avenues, North Burial Ground, Providence, RI Lillian was married (1) to Fred Patterson. There's a Frederick Patterson, 1877 - May 29, 1926, buried in PV003. She and Fred were living at the same boarding house in Providence in the 1910 Census. She was known as Pat or Patty, although earlier postcards (from 1910) address her as Lill.

Lillian M. "Pat or Patricia" REGESTER and Arthur Brownell DODGE were married on 1 February 1917 in Providence, RI. Arthur Brownell DODGE, son of Herbert Ellenwood DODGE and Amanda PETTEY, was born on 2 January 1878 in North Providence, RI.64 He died in RI. Arthur had a twin brother, Albert S.

He was a plaster moulder at the time of the 1900 Census. In the 1910 Census, he was living with his parents at 149 Atlantic Avenue, Providence. He was a moulder. In the World War I draft in 1918, he was a moulder living with his wife at 149 Atlantic Avenue. In the 1920 Census, he and Lillian were living in a triple decker at 135 Reservoir Avenue with his father-in-law and Lillian's sister's family.

In the 1927 Providence City Directory, Arthur is listed as a moulder living at 135 Reservoir Avenue in Providence. The family was listed as living in Providence in the 1930 Census. Arthur was a silversmith and foreman at Gorham Mfg. Co. His father was born in MA. They had no children. In the 1936 and 1938 City Directories, he and Lillian were living at 152 Grace Street in Cranston, next door to Lillian's sister and her husband, Walter B. Leonard at 148 Grace Street. In the 1941 City Directory, they were living at 9 Oakland Avenue, Cranston. In the 1942 World War II draft registration, Arthur was working for New England Glass Works in Providence. He and Lillian were living at 9 Oakland Avenue, Cranston, RI. He was 5'9" and 132 lbs. He had brown eyes, gray hair, and a dark complexion.

My uncle said that Arthur tried to seduce Lillian's sister, which led to a family falling-out and caused the Dodges to move.

There was an Alonzo Solomon Dodge born in Bristol, RI, 1 April 1893. He was an inspector in the Quartermaster Corps at the time of the 1918 World War I draft. He was married and living at 171 Gallatin Street in Providence. His wife was Dorothy M. Reaves. They married 15 September 1917. They had a daughter, Pauline, born 16 Feb 1919 in RI. In the 1920 Census, he and his family were living with his parents, Walter A. and Elizabeth Dodge, at 171 Gallatin Street in Providence. In 1900, Walter, b. Dec 1866, and Elizabeth were living at 43 Hope Street in Bristol. Walter was a railroad conductor. Alonzo Dodge was treasurer of Dodge Textile Corporation, 21 Congress Ave., Providence in 1927 and President-Treasurer in 1938 through 1960. Jack Leonard was also an officer of the Dodge Textile Corporation at some point. Dodge Textile Corporation manufactured aprons.

Lillian M. "Pat or Patricia" REGESTER and Fred PATTERSON were married on 28 April 1910 in Providence, RI. Fred PATTERSON died on 29 May 1926 in Providence, RI.
