471. Muriel LEONARD was born on 11 May 1908 in New Jersey. She died brain aneurysm in 1965 at the age of 57 in Boston, Suffolk Co., MA. She was known as Sissy. She died of a brain aneurysm. She was a very goodlooking woman and served as a face model for students at Rhode Island School of Design.

Muriel LEONARD and Howard E. CLARKE were married on 25 April 1928 in Providence, RI.120 Howard E. CLARKE, son of John H. CLARK and MARGARET, was born about 1905 in RI. Possibly the Howard E. Clark born September 23, 1907, died February 13, 1990.

They were living with Howard's mother at the time of the 1930 Census, on 41 John Street in Attleboro, MA. Mother was Margaret Clark, 46, born in RI of English parents. Sister Madelyn, 22, was also living there. His parents were born in RI. He was a shipping clerk in a slate factory. She was a designer in a jewelry factory.

Howard Vaughan CLARKE was born on 30 January 1936 in Attleborough, Bristol Co., MA. He died on 17 February 2007 at the age of 71 in Melvin Village, NH. Howard attended Colby College in Maine from 1954 to 1957, at which time he entered the service. Howard studied Mandarin Chinese at the Army Language School, Monterey, CA, while in the U.S. Naval Security Group, then lived at Taipei, Formosa, with his wife Ann, whom he had met while at ALS, where they rented an apartment from a Chinese gentleman. He saw duty on the carriers Lexington and Bon Homme Richard as well as the submarine USS Tiru. After military service, he returned to Colby College in Maine, graduating in 1963. He worked for the Hathaway Shirt Co., becoming national sales manager for their Christian Dior accessories line, and later worked for Pendleton Woolen Mills, primarily in New York City. They lived in Darien, CT prior to retiring in 1998.
